We’ve been down this crazy, fringe, conspiracy rabbit hole before, but here it is again. It’s revived because Mitt can’t seem to simply call this idea what it is: BS. But then again, it may be his way of appealing to the nasty, extremist rightwing pinheads who can’t accept that President Obama was legitimately elected.

The Donald is one of those figures in public life that I feel conflicted about. On the one hand, he’s a total buffoon, a reality-show-host-birth certificate-denying-egomaniacal-doofus. On the other hand, he’s so outrageous that he’s an amusing distraction.

The Donald is continuing to spout discredited arguments about whether President Obama is a U.S. citizen. Apparently going with the CRAZY is a good way to shore up the ratings on “The Apprentice.” It’s good to see Trump doing well in polls of potential 2012 Republican candidates. As a cartoonist, I’d LOVE to see him get the GOP nomination. Woo hoo!
