The fried eggs are a reference to a well-known anti-drug ad that ended with the phrase, “this is your brain on drugs.”  Younger people might not be aware of that ad, but I thought it made the point even if you’d never heard of it.  I went with this approach because I assume that there will be a lot of cartoons of Perry being unable to remember …um..a  third of…something.  Oops.
