The Donald is one of those figures in public life that I feel conflicted about. On the one hand, he’s a total buffoon, a reality-show-host-birth certificate-denying-egomaniacal-doofus. On the other hand, he’s so outrageous that he’s an amusing distraction.

It saves a lot of money and time not having to buy or make costumes for trick-or-treat. If America wants a frightening experience this Halloween, all it needs to do is take a look at the 2012 GOP field. Nothing sends a chill down one’s spine more than imagining President Cain with his finger on the button. Ahwoooooooo!!!

The GOP has steadfastly refused to give Obama credit for much of anything positive. Now, they’re unloading on him for keeping a campaign promise to withdraw troops from Iraq, a move that most Americans support. The ironic twist is that this disastrous timetable is one that was drawn up by George W. Bush. Credit that.
