loveCOLOR Woo woo As the allegations pile up and more women come forward, it seems that an increasing number have gotten onboard the Cain train.  Ahem.  And ironic that this latest accusation of an affair may sink Cain and benefit Newt Gingrich, whose own checkered past includes two extramarital affairs that we know of.

Cain’t speak the truth

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

denyCOLOR Caint speak the truthYou have to give Herman Cain credit for staying on message.  He says he did nothing and he’s sticking to his story no matter how many woman come forward with their sordid tales of harassment.  Maybe it’s a good strategy, given that some of his followers find the  whole thing to be a figment of the left-wing media’s imaginary smear machine.  If these stories are true, and all indications say they are, then Cain is victimizing all these women twice.  First when he harassed them, then again by smearing and attacking them once they’ve come forward.

Cain's scandal defensesIf Herman Cain was the GOP flavor of the month,  he’s turning out to be Dill Pickle Sour Pucker.  In addition to his totally muddled, unconvincing attempt to dismiss the sexual harassment scandal, he’s shown that foreign policy is another one of his Achille’s heels.  He expressed dismay that China might go nuclear, apparently unaware that China has been nuclear since the 1960s.

Herman Cain's regressive tax plan 9-9-9The success Herman Cain has had peddling his simplistic 9-9-9 tax plan shows, sadly, how many people will latch onto a bad idea just because it’s catchy.  His regressive “plan” (the full details of which he still hasn’t laid out) would hit the poor the hardest and be a boon for millionaires.  Further tilting the tax landscape in favor of the wealthiest is incredibly irresponsible in a country that is desperately trying to rebound from an ever-growing income disparity.
