Who goesh therrwe?

Wednesday, June 27th, 2012

azCOLOR Who goesh therrwe?Yes, the Supreme Court left the “papers please” provision of the Arizona law intact, but it struck three other provisions that make it difficult to enforce.  And as people are stopped and asked for proof of citizenship, I think it’s inevitable that Latinos–or people who even look Latino–are going to bring lawsuits that allege racial profiling.  Gov. Jan Brewer may call it a win, but it doesn’t look like this law is going to hold up in the long run.
