bombCOLOR KaboomWe in the cheesehead state knew there were a lot of recall signatures being collected, but the 1 million delivered surpassed most expectations.  Certainly some percentage will be thrown out, but there will be far more than enough left standing.  The process still has a long way to go, but the clock is ticking, governor……

Walker duped by phony phone callThinking he was talking to one of the gazillionaire Koch Brothers, Wisconsin’s new boy governor nearly swooned.  In addition to admitting he had considered planting provocateurs in the crowd of peaceful protesters in Madison, he was gleeful when the fake Koch offered to show him a “good time” in California after Walker had crushed those “bastards” in the labor movement.  ”All right.  That would be outstanding,” Walker said.  Governor, a Mr. Butts on line one, Seymour Butts…..

On Wisconsin

meBUZZ On WisconsinWhat began as a breathtaking overreach on the part of  our new governor has grown into a national, even international, cause celebre.  And don’t let anyone tell you it’s strictly a “modest” effort to get wage and benefits concessions from the public sector employees.  They’ve already agreed to that.  This is union busting, not-so-pure and simple.

Smells like victory

winBUZZ Smells like victoryWisconsin’s governor-elect fulfills a campaign promise and rejects $810 million in federal funding that would have gone to building a midwest high-speed rail system connecting Chicago, Milwaukee and the Twin Cities.  Our conservative warrior also rejected all the jobs and spin-off investments that would have gone with it.  States like California and Florida gleefully accept the money and realize why we’re called cheeseheads.
